Director- Brodie Serres
Hey All!!! My name is Brodie Bennett-Serres and I am in my 5th year as the Meeteetse Recreation Director and loving every minute of it. I am a graduate of Meeteetse High School, Sheridan College, and the University of Wyoming.
I am a 6th generation Bennett from Meeteetse. Growing up I always dreamed of becoming the Meeteetse Recreation Director someday. I love the outdoors, hunting, rodeo, trail running, and spending time with my husband and family. Meeteetse and all the people in our community will always hold a special place in my heart and I will forever work to make Meeteetse the best place it can be.
My goals as the Meeteetse Recreation Director are to expand our programs and services that we offer to the Meeteetse Community. We are excited for the opening of our new Community Rec Center and are excited to see what the future holds for the Meeteetse Rec and community.

Yoga Instructor- Tracie Fernandez
After enjoying the benefits of a regular yoga practice for the majority of my adult life, in 2018 I attended a one year yoga teacher training, receiving my 200 RYS certification with Yoga Alliance. I love yoga and enjoy sharing yoga with others. Yoga is a practice that can be done by all ages, genders and physical abilities. The benefits are both physical and non-physical. During football season each year, I teach yoga to the football athletes in Meeteetse, sponsored by the Six Man Club. Yoga increases athletic performance, improves focus and helps prevent injuries. Throughout the year, I teach two yoga classes each week, a gentle yoga class and a chair yoga class. Through the slow controlled movements of yoga, with a focus on breathing, students increase strength, mobility and balance. These classes are offered through the Meeteetse Recreation District.

Sami Coggins- RecKids/Lifeguard
I have spent most of my life in Park County, most recently in Meeteetse with my kids and husband! I love everything Meeteetse has to offer and I’m so excited to be working at the Meeteetse Rec District, with the Lil’ Rec Kids. I am very family and community oriented, and I look forward to being more involved as time goes on! Community is a big reason why I decided I wanted to stay in Meeteetse! I love watching sports, especially with my family! (GO ZAGS) I love to cook, and bake, and I am an avid reader!
Growing up I knew I wanted a career where I could spend my time helping people, and I always thought that I would be a nurse, turns out I was meant to work with little kids. I started babysitting as a way to be able to stay at home with my kiddos but more recently I have been very much so interested in the education side of the younger children and I hope in the future I can “start fresh” on my college career and pursue a career in early childhood education or elementary education! I’m so thankful for the opportunity to hopefully grow with the Rec District and learn more!
